We are currently looking for a talented and motivated **HR Assistant** to join our team in **Leeds**.

**What does the role involve?
As a member of the HR Operations team, you'll provide support to business managers, colleagues and the wider HR team to effectively manage people related activity in line with Sweco HR policies, procedures and practices ensuring compliance with UK legislation.

You'll continuously review and make improvements to Best Practice processes and procedures and implement changes as agreed and ensure strict compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (GDPR) at all times.

**To be successful in this role you’ll possess**:

- A proven track record in generalist administration (experience in an HR environment is advantageous)
- A high level of attention to detail with the ability to work to varying deadlines.
- Good planning and prioritisation skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- The ability to work independently, asking for assistance when appropriate.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your style to suit the audience.
- Strong MS skills in Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams and the ability to learn in-house systems as required.
