Description

Within this role, you will have to oppotunity to learn and develop the technical capabilities to carry out supporting activities within the Bard Supply Chain Planning Team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
These responsibilities represent the major areas of work performed and are not an exhaustive list of all tasks.

**1. Undertake a programme of training required to carry out**: Materials requirements planning, Supplier Management Support, ERP systems and planning and scheduling.

**2. Materials**: Support the consistent, controlled, and timely supply of materials to fulfil production requirement achieved through regular and consistent review of stock levels to achieve delivery to our customer supply targets.

**3. Supplier Management**: Support planners in delivery of required stock levels by managing supplier relationships in order to meet our customer supply targets

**4. Scheduling**: Support the senior planners in analysing demand data to issue short, medium and long-term plans to ensure our customers supply targets are met.

5. Complete the training requirements of the apprenticeship. Provide documented evidence of training completion for review by the Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager and external educational bodies.

**Salary**:

- Year 1 Package is £18,640. Made up of £16,000 basic salary and £2,640 to be used for employment benefits or can be cashed out as salary.
- Year 2 Package is £19,805. Made up of £17,000 basic salary and £2,805 to be used for employment benefits or can be cashed out as salary.
- Year 3 Package is £20,970. Made up of £18,000 basic salary and £2,970 to be used for employment benefits or can be cashed out as salary.
- Year 4 Package is £28,775. Made up of £24,700 basic salary and £4,075 to be used for employment benefits or can be cashed out as salary.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at Grade 5-9 or A-C to include Maths and English.

Training to be provided
- The learner will be studying the Procurement and Supply Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- Day release to West Suffolk College.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

Things to consider

Good communication skills, being self-motivated, having good IT skills, being organised and methodical, and enjoying problem solving are all desirable for the potential canditadte to have.
