Payroll Operational Readiness Consultant

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will work with colleagues and partners to ensure a consistent, client-focused service, driving improvements alongside the Cintra Outsourced Services team. Most of all, you will be an creative consultant, enthusiastic about the role, keen to deliver customer satisfaction and payroll efficiencies to the OSS team members to enable them perform to expectation.
The identified immediate challenges are:
1. Lower the cost of OSS payroll service delivery & improve profitability.
2. Improve the quality of payroll processes, introduce best practice and simplify wherever possible.
3. Customer satisfaction and improve net promoter score (NPS) in line with the business targets.
4. Enable business agility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage your workload and project allocation, providing regular updates and ensuring completion to agreed target dates.
- Seek & deliver opportunities of continuous improvement on existing accounts / services currently delivered by the OSS team and Customer
- Seek & deliver enhancements to the OSS payroll processes and procedures through continuous improvement initiatives and best practices updating processes, documentation, and the department as appropriate
- Ensure adoption of new tools by the OSS Team and Customer, roll out the introduction of processes to improve efficiency
- Manage and support payroll regular legislative updates for our Customers with the Marketing Team
- Drive the delivery and provision of a gold standard outsourced service
- Manage and support on requests assigned to assist with the Customer journey
- Manage and deliver OSS Team training around best practice
- Ensure GDPR compliance within teams
- Carry out other duties and projects as agreed with line manager
**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
- 3+ years of work experience in payroll team management - bureau environment preferred
- Experienced in change management & the introduction of new processes procedures
- A facilitator, that exhibits confidence in guiding the teams
- A coach, that provides the right tools to achieve goals
- A positive role model with excellent work ethic
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Able to adapt at pace and with a passion for making an impact
- Able to constantly think of ways to improve and speed up processes

- Understanding of using metrics to deliver results that will meet or exceed business goals

- Knowledge and understanding of payroll best practices and legislation
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including high proficiency in Excel
- Parallel run and Service Rehearsal experience an advantage
- Highly organised with the ability to oversee large and multiple projects with high attention to detail
- Able to produce professional quality documentation
You will be required to have and to maintain (with regular training and updates as necessary) the knowledge, technical skills and qualifications that are necessary to perform this job role to comply with Company requirements and any applicable rules, regulations (particularly of any professional body) and legislation relevant to the responsibilities of this role.
