Sport and Physical Activity is at the heart of the vision for the Leisure, Culture and Communities directorate and have a key role to play in contributing to the council’s priorities.

This exciting, strategical position, within our Sport and Physical Activity team, will have the opportunity to lead a team of motivated sports professionals to provide high-quality sport and physical activity programmes that aim to increase participation and develop strong sporting infrastructure within our communities.

As the Community Sport and Place Programme Lead, you will be instrumental in advancing the council's priorities by promoting physical and mental well-being, fostering community engagement, and removing barriers to participation. This role challenges strategic thinking, effective management skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse communities and stakeholders.
