Marchwood currently have an opportunity for a sample media operative based out of our site in Worsley, Gtr Manchester on a full time permanent basis.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

Preparation and dispatch or air sampling media. Gravimetric analysis of filter samples (full training provided).

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAIN DUTIES
- Preparation of air sampling media orders (filters/tubes/gas bags) as determined by training record.
- Packaging and dispatch of orders using online royal mail click and drop account.
- Gravimetric analysis of filters for dust and particulate analysis. Data entry using excel.
- Recycle, clean and maintain stocks of air sample media.
- Other general laboratory tasks as instructed by the team leader.
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 (UKAS) and the internal Quality Management System.
- Maintain Cawood credibility by always portraying a positive image by keeping equipment and PPE clean.
- Respect company equipment ensuring to use them as per guidelines and to report any damage to management as soon as possible.
- Work as a team and maintaining morale and actively offer help and assistance wherever possible.
- Responsible for keeping safety at the forefront of lab work and being proactive ensuring accidents and near misses are always reported straightaway to Managers in line with our company accreditation and policy.
- When required, assist with on-site training of new employees providing proactive support ensuring there onboarding into the company is friendly, engaging and inspiring.
