We have an exciting new role in our Professional & Leisure Services department as a **Curriculum & Commercial Enhancement Lead**.

Reporting to the Head of Professional & Leisure Services, the **Curriculum & Commercial Enhancement** Lead will develop and lead enhancement activities across the department, working with the curriculum teams to support outstanding student experiences. They will also lead the commercial arm of the department whilst building strong links with stakeholders within the local and regional community to maximise opportunities for our students to develop industry skills.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working closely with curriculum teams, leading enhancement activities and projects that support skills development for students
- Work with Curriculum Area teams and Tutorial Intervention Officers to lead employer-related projects/activities focusing on skills development relevant to the industry
- Develop new business opportunities through the development of networks and actively engaging with employers and the community
- Facilitate and co-ordinate the learning environment spaces working with the curriculum teams, students and employers
- Lead on skills competitions and challenges within the department
- Develop and maintain a strong social media presence to promote the curriculum and commercial service offered within the department
- To maintain and promote close links with employers
- Contribute to course development and the development of new programmes of study demonstrating an inclusive and collaborative approach to delivery
- Contribute to outreach and widening participation activity within the department

**Education & Training**
- A Level 3 Qualification
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

**Experience**
- Experience in leading projects/initiatives
- Experience working with college students aged 16-19

- Experience working collaboratively in a large and diverse team
- Ability to work effectively, and independently with a proactive mindset
- Ability to prioritise, schedule and monitor tasks to completion
