Curriculum Area Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Area Manager to lead our Hair, Beauty, Barbering & Business provision at Bradford College.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the curriculum area staff, including setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring quality, recruitment, and financial targets are met.
  • Deputise for the Head of Department as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with College procedures and systems, and report on these via KPIs.
  • Liaise with the Head of Department to deploy the curriculum area budget efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the physical resources of the Curriculum Area and maintain a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Contribute to the collegial culture, mission, and strategic objectives of the College.
  • Support the Head of Department in planning, innovation, design, and development of curriculum provision and cross-College marketing activities.
  • Manage the guidance, selection, admission, and progression of students, and deal with matters relating to their performance, achievement, conduct, and discipline.
  • Ensure that 16-19 provision within the curriculum area meets the requirements and guidelines for study programmes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in curriculum management and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of College procedures and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
