HR Operations Manager

Network HR are delighted to be working exclusively with a global leading Investment bank to support with the hire of an experienced HR Operations Manager to join their high-performing team based in London. The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for thedaily oversight of team members, who provide administrative support to the Company’s offices located in the UK, EMEA and APAC regions. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, process management, project management, responding to employee questions,reviewing, and ensuring accuracy of data entry into HR systems, managing non-US payroll processing, and overseeing the team handling the administrative aspects of onboarding, offboarding, and job changes. Other responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the daily operations of the HR Operations Team and department.
- Supervise, write reviews, performance plans, lead, coach and develop the HR Operations Team.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring that the team delivers a consistently high level of customer service, monitoring and addressing SLA’s as needed.
- Collaborate with the Workday Operations team to help build HR Service, Knowledge Articles and HR Case processing.
- Responsible for the ongoing process improvement and expansion of the HR services provided.
- Regularly attends and participates in HR meetings and serve as a key contact for HR management and OA’s.
- Maintain and expand relationships with all functional teams throughout the firm, ensuring consistency in the use of transaction management software encouraging colleagues to maximize the use of the platform, including covering any training.
- Address complex customer inquiries that require cross-functional support and/or solutions.
- Clarify processes and drive efficiencies that enable the team to effectively manage transactional volumes.
- Drive process standardisation and improvement within HR Operations.
- Proactively manage and supervise the team to ensure proper processes are followed with respect to employee onboarding, offboarding, and job changes.
- Oversee the timely and accurate completion of critical HR processes such as required vaccination verification, background checks, new hire data entry, compensation changes, processing leaves of absences, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure prompt responses to employee inquiries coming through the HR International mailbox.
- Manage the non-US payroll processes and act as key point of contact for Payroll team, ensuring the HR Operations team timely performs all tasks required to meet payroll deadlines.
- Oversee the maintenance and update of employee personnel files and records.
- Assist with the Company’s immigration matters, including responding to inquiries from incoming employees, collecting work authorisation, tracking expiration dates, and initiating and overseeing cases with external immigration provider.
- Accountable for data integrity in HR systems and ensure appropriate audit controls are in place and consistently followed.
- Support, develop, and train HR Operations team members on HR systems and processes.
- Provide administrative assistance and systems support for performance review cycles.
- Ensure compliance and integrity of all HR systems data through various audit processes in cooperation with HRIS and Legal & Compliance.
- Partner with HRIS on supporting tools/systems and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide support for other HR projects and perform duties as assigned.
- A financial services background will be advantageous for this appointment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Knowledge of the HRIS Workday or significant experience of working with a HRIS.
