_Our Client are keen to recruit an individual to join their busy company in the role of procurement, reporting to the Business Development Director. This role would suit someone who has previous experience in procurement and is looking to further develop their buying and procurement skills._

**Duties**:

- Ensuring that price variations are communicated to various teams as quickly as possible
- Ensuring that goods purchased are to specification in terms of quality, quantity and delivery and advising on those suppliers who fail to meet specifications
- Ensuring sales orders are processed and ordered in a timely and efficient manner
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
- Assisting in every aspect of the supply chain
- Continual liaison with suppliers regarding orders/prices and deliveries and developing strong supplier relationships
- Working on new processes and procedures and product briefs
- Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to ensure goods are delivered quickly and efficiently

**Requirements**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Work well under pressure
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Demonstrable experience in procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills
