Support Worker Male

Ampthill, United Kingdom MacIntyre Charity Full time

**Do you want a job where your influence will continue long after your shift ends? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live more independently? No experience necessary: we'll train you.**

**Please note, we can only consider male applicants for this role.**

You will work alongside an experienced team who support David, Stephen and Simon* to live in two flats in Ampthill. They are in their forties and fifties and lead very full lives.

Music plays a very important role in their day-to-day routines. David in particular is a real music fan, his favourite artists being Metallica and Belinda Carlisle.Simon has support to attend a regular bingo club and go on daily walks to do his shopping. Stephen is very keen on airplanes, with the Duxford air show being a real red letter day for him.

Just like the rest of us they all find some days trickier than others. You will be fully trained on how to pick up on their individual moods and provide emotional reassurance when things get tough.

New team members are always made to feel welcome and benefit from working alongside experienced colleagues who are quick to help with training and advice.

We have full-time 37.5 hours or part-time roles available across a rota which includes days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
