We have an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to work in our successful and vibrant school, situated in an attractive conservation village on the Lincs/Notts border, 12 miles south of Lincoln and 30 miles from Nottingham.

We wish to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to work in our busy school office to cover the maternity leave of our current administrator.

You will have experience of working in an administrative role (in a school is preferred but not essential), with a minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

You will be highly organised, flexible and be able to cope in a busy and rapidly changing environment and be willing to train for a paediatric first aid qualification.

With confidence of working with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word & Excel), knowledge of pupil management information systems would be desirable but training will be given if required.

You will be aware of basic accounting/financial procedures and be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail, whilst maintaining confidentiality and a professional outlook with a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality and sense of humour. Be able to communicate with pupils and adults alike, you will be part of a team - reliable, efficient and willing to learn.

You will have front facing reception duties and provide consistently high-quality administration support, including filing, word processing and reprographics; telephone answering; maintain pupil medical and first aid records; input data (Integris) and with training - set up Purchase Orders on our finance system, as well as being able to:

- Arrange trips and events;
- Compile reports and records;
- Maintain and analyse registers;
- Maintain records of admissions, leavers and student records;
- Deal with incoming mail and goods;
- Set up payments on our parent pay system:

- Liaise with parents and outside bodies - electronically and face to face;
- Welcome visitors to the school;
- Cover lunch duties as necessary
