A leading university are looking to recruit a Communications Co-ordinator to join their growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a clear in-depth understanding of the business and its challenges within the market, offering innovative solutions to raise awareness of and develop the business brand within the creative industries.
- To work with the Recruitment Manager to develop and deliver the Communications Plan, including the development of communication campaigns and messages to increase business revenue and share key activities and successes achieved by the business.
- Monitoring and reporting of the effectiveness of comms activities, adapting plans as required to improve impact.
- To coordinate the ongoing development and maintenance of the intranet web pages as well as associated sections of the website, drafting and updating copy and stories.
- Generating content ideas or responding to requests for content production, including case studies and testimonials. Gathering content, drafting copy, and sourcing appropriate images to create usable content.
- Drafting, editing and design work for documents and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Commissioning and production coordination of content where required, eg video production.
- Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and wider communications work.

Knowledge/Qualifications
- Confident user with good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of relevant accessibility legislation, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and GDPR.

Experience
- B2B and B2C external communications including web and social media.
- Copywriting experience and content writing for the web.
- Experience writing and editing long and short form documents for varying audiences.
- Experience using HTML and CSS coding.
- Experience in producing visual and audio communication content, including infographics, videos, social media posts etc.
- Internal communications within a multi-brand, distributed private or public organisation.
- Development of internal communications campaigns to promote and increase the awareness of a business or brand.
- Demonstrable work experience in external and/or internal communications.
