THE ROLE **Purchasing Co-ordinator**

Act as liaison between production facilities and suppliers.

Prepare and submit **RFQs **for new components, suppliers, or processes.

Set up new supplier approvals and integration into the system.

Prepare production and/or delivery schedule to meet stock and customer demand and verify inventory levels, working closely with the operations teams.

Places necessary Purchase Orders with suppliers using the **Oracle system** - ensuring accuracy of data, required approvals are obtained and adherence to Global Category strategy.

Maintain and update demand forecasts from operations.

Work with supplier base to keep them informed of near and future requirements, advise supplier of irregularities or unusual demand.

Actively drive suppliers to ensure on-time adherence to Purchase Orders requirements. Expedite orders as required to meet production & business requirements.

Be the first point of escalation of all technical and commercial issues with suppliers.

For matters beyond their control, perform necessary escalations and co-ordinate with relevant stake-holders to ensure issues are resolved.

Manage and make arrangements for shipping of finished product and rental projects. Ensure business processes are executed according to the set procedures and standard work flow. Maintain systems and documentation where required. Makes recommendations for **Supply Chain** improvements and assists with Category strategies Ensure all **HSSEQ **rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the businesses in particular ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times Required Capabilities: At least 2 years experience of **purchasing administration** preferably with **manufacturing related companies.**

£26,000 - £28,000
