Job description

**Where you’ll work**: Based at North Kent College’s Dartford campus, with occasional travel to the Gravesend / Hadlow / Tonbridge sites if required.

**Your hours**: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

**Your pay**: £24,500 to £26,368 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), with Level 3 CIPD study support if you don’t already have a qualification in place.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Coordinator to join North Kent College’s HR department, working as part of a close-knit team (including Head of HR, HR Manager, two Senior HR Advisors and a second HR Coordinator) during a period of continued positive change.

The role of HR Coordinator is responsible for providing customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic support, working with the experienced HR team (including closely with a Senior HR Advisor to support the servicing of particular departments) to ensure the smooth running of the service in line with College polices and procedures.

This could be the role for you if:

- you’ve got current experience of working in an HR role at Administrator / Assistant level and are looking for the next step in your career, or if you’re working within a role outside of HR that’s given you the transferable skills needed to begin your career in HR;
- you’re CIPD qualified at Level 3 or above, or willing to achieve this within 12 months of appointment (with full funding from us);
- you’ve got experience of providing end to end recruitment process support, or transferable skills to this effect from driving forward other key processes as part of your current role;
- you’ve got excellent IT and administration skills, and the ability to maintain an HR information system with absolute accuracy.

It goes without saying that we need you to be a team player and an excellent communicator, able to maintain a proactive, organised approach to your work, and of course an eye for detail, whilst working to challenging deadlines. The ability to maintain focus and quality of service delivery at all times is key.
