**Why loveholidays?****:
At loveholidays, we’re on a mission to open the world to everyone, giving our customers’ unlimited choice, unmatched ease and unmissable value for their next getaway. Our team is the driving force behind our role as our customers’ personal holiday expert - the smart way to get away.

**The impact you’ll have**:
The Head of Credit Control role has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the people, processes and platforms we use to collect money from customers. Only 30% of loveholidays’ customers pay for their holiday in full on the day of booking, which means in 70% of cases loveholidays’ customers enter into a payment plan - it is your job to make sure these customers pay on time so that they can enjoy a fantastic loveholidays holiday.

**Your day-to-day**:
Full overall responsibility for the credit control operation within loveholidays
- Agreeing the strategy to maximise our ability to collect from customers.
- Leadership of the credit control team, both internal and outsourced.
- Ownership of the collections processes, KPIs, and measures of success.
- Working with our Technology Team and Platform IT Team to ensure we have best in class systems to help us collect money from customers, and delivering automation to maximise collection efficiency.
- Working with our Trading Teams to make sure we balance excellent payment options for customers whilst ensuring customers are able to pay for their holiday.

**Your skillset**:

- You will have significant experience running credit control or collections operations in B2C organisations.
- You will have led large collections teams in B2C organisations, displaying outstanding leadership and management skills and the ability to lead an operational team.
- You will understand B2C collections inside out, with a deep understanding of how to collect from customers, how to optimise and continually improve performance, how to measure success, and how to build a best in class collections operation.
- You will have integrated a culture of continuous improvements, constantly testing collections strategies to ensure that we maximise the collection process.
- Whilst you are a collections specialist, you will have held leadership roles where you influence across the business, making sure that how we can successfully collect is considered at the point of making the same and not just at the end of the journey.
- You will thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

- You will have worked in high tech organisations, where up to date systems are used to maximise collections efficiency, and you will have a good understanding of the latest technology available.
- You will have worked in an industry where cash collection from customers is critical to the success of the business.
- Experience in travel may be an advantage, but the nature of the collections teams you have run will be the most important factor relating to your experience.
