Antenatal Clinic Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to lead the Antenatal Clinic Team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, self-motivated and forward-thinking midwife to provide excellence in clinical care for women and effective midwifery management to the antenatal clinic team.
**Key duties include**:
- To provide effective, dynamic, and cohesive midwifery leadership and management to a team of midwives, working in the acute hospital and community setting on a rotational basis.
- To deliver robust evidence-based midwifery care and promote individualised women centred midwifery care in partnership with women and other stakeholders.
- An integral part of the role will be the provision of clinical management and leadership in the absence of the clinical midwifery manager.
- To act as an exemplary role model and effective and pivotal resource to midwifery and other staff.
- To have competent and proficient IT knowledge and skills to aid effective communication throughout and management of the maternity unit.
