The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Senior Midwifery Manager to join its Antenatal Clinic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered midwife with significant experience of working in a fast-paced Antenatal Clinic setting to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As a Senior Midwifery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the midwifery team, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and that the clinic operates efficiently. You will work closely with obstetricians, paediatricians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create coordinated care plans, especially for high-risk pregnancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing clinical protocols to meet regulatory standards and improve patient outcomes
  • Coordinating the clinical activities within the Antenatal Clinic and informing the Midwifery Matron about conditions in the clinic
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including duty rotas and individual performance reviews
