As a member of the Regional Field Logistics Service Operations team, you are responsible for ensuring our 3PL’s infrastructure and Operations supports our day to day business requirements and growth of the company in serving KLA customers as efficiently as possible. You will ensure efficient and cost efficient logistics operations in distribution, import/export and transportation through analysis and research of local transportation methods and proper modes, reviewing performance, and align logistics strategy on network expansions and logistics solutions locally to meet business requirements.

This role is key position in the Global Logistics Center team, ensuring corporate logistics strategies and processes are being executed and customer satisfaction is a high focus. To be successful in this role, you must be customer/stakeholder focused and a motivated self-starter and self-learner, able to work independently and collaboratively with suppliers and cross functional teams (both local and overseas) in leading 3PLs on operational execution.

This individual must possess hands on logistics operational knowledge, excellent analytical and data management skills, metrics / reporting skills, good communication and language skills as well as technology know-how needed to work successfully in high-pressure, time sensitive situations where customer satisfaction and efficient performance is the goal.

Essential Functions:

- Execute, monitor, and manage appropriate logistics operations and business metrics to meet or exceed performance requirements.
- Management of 3PL’s through ongoing Issue and Action meetings, Monthly Performance reviews, RCCA activity, QBR’s and TQRDC scorecards.
- Single POC for all Parts and Service Logistics escalations within region
- Manage relationship and communications with HQ Parts Planning, Expedite Teams, and Global Logistics
- Support Service managers to optimize their support requirements
- Work with GSS Parts planning to ensure parts planning processes is in line with local business needs
- Be available to engage with stakeholders/customers on Logistics and parts escalations
- Attend Operations review meetings at strategic customer sites when needed
- Setup of local warehouses in support of new customer ramps
- Support reverse logistics programs for both internal and external customers
- Support of all KLA import and export activities for country or region managed
- Development of country specific logistics and trade procedures
- Responsible for all order execution of local parts or for exports from their country or region
- Drive ongoing efficiency and cost optimization projects with Suppliers
- Support the Global trade compliance requirements including licensed dual use import/export processes and reporting
- Track and analyze trends to ensure results and propose operation and/or cost optimization improvements
- Analyze traffic lanes and modes utilized to identify patterns in freight movements (costs, service levels, special requests)
- Participate in 3rd party logistics RFP/RFQ’s and support by developing and validating data and cost models
- Detailed analytical capability with the ability to understand key drivers and recommend solution options

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in managing logistics operations in freight, warehousing, courier modes.
- Possess understanding of domestic and International service logistics networks for high-value goods and spare parts including trucking, airfreight, courier and warehousing.
- Familiar with country/area customs clearance import/export regulations and requirement on IT products/spares preferable.
- Experience in both Service and Manufacturing Logistics a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required.
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
- Prior experience in cost management (ie. CBA, ROI) and familiar with various logistics cost elements (ie. inventory, transportation, VAT)
- Knowledge of global trade, compliance and other regulatory experience with solid understanding of customs and brokerage and hazardous material movements is an asset.
