**The role**:
We have a really exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our friendly HR team in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and conscientious individual who is looking to start their career in HR in a supportive team.

**What will you do**:

- Support the HR Managers for Fee Earners with day to day HR processes, including secondments, new joiners, parental leave and leavers processes. This involves responsibility for the organisation of these processes from start to finish, liaising with various stakeholders, producing paperwork and working with the HR Managers to ensure the smooth running of processes.
- Work as part of the team providing day to day operational support to the wider UK and International HR teams as required.
- Use and administration of all HR systems including: leavers/joiners/updates/reporting on Firm's HRIS (Workday), absence management system, online performance management system (Objective Manager), and referencing system (Vero).
- Providing holiday cover and overflow support to all other members of the HR Operations team
- Regular review and input into maintenance and updating of HR Operational processes.
- Responsibility for helping to maintain and update template documents and document management system.
- Organisation of the Firm's centralised Keeping In Touch day for new parents.
- Participation in wider HR team projects, as required.

**What we are looking for**:
**Education/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Minimum of one year administration experience preferred.
- Previous professional services experience would be an advantage in this role.

**Technical/Work-based Skills/Knowledge**:

- Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Willingness and aptitude to use software packages that are unfamiliar.

**General Skills/Attributes**:

- Possesses a client-centred, "can do" attitude and displays flexibility in their approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to organise self and activities effectively to meet work demands and achieve objectives.
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
