We are one of the UK’s largest wholesaler of floristry, seasonal and homewares products. Established over 20 years, we source from around the globe looking for exciting and on trend new products.

A vacancy has arisen for an Accounts Administrator at our CB Imports Head Office at East Ardsley, Leeds.

The ideal person must have a hard working positive attitude, get on well with everyone whilst achieving a high level of accuracy and output and helping the department in every way possible. We require a real team player who can multitask, work under pressure and deal with all levels of people within the organisation.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

- Entering invoices into Caliq (company accounting system)
- . Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
- Posting cash receipts/payments promptly to ensure accuracy of Sales/Purchase Ledgers
- Matching Invoices to branch delivery notes.
- Chasing missing invoices / delivery notes & POD’s
- Assist preparing BACS runs and raising CHAPS payments
- Import documentation checks and raising of payments
- Creating and verifying new customer/supplier accounts
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Deal with customer/supplier queries in a timely manner
- Wider support of the finance function, along with other Adhoc duties
- Ideally the successful applicant will have:
Key Skills
- Accounts knowledge/experience essential
- Knowledge of Import/Export processes desirable
- Strong excel skills - Pivot tables desirable
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to work and think independently but also as part of a team
- Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, 40 hours per week

Salary is dependant on experience.
