Ln - Continuous Improvement Officer

**Role Summary**:
As the Continuous Improvement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive change within our operations. Reporting to the Performance Improvement Manager, you'll actively promote a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing our processes, and collaborating with the factory floor team to implement improvements. Your efforts will contribute to creating a better tomorrow for our business. You will be working across Retford and North Scarle sites.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, fostering accountability and engagement.
- Develop methodologies for driving improvement, problem-solving, and project management.
- Analyse relevant data to identify the need for change, utilizing dashboards and KPIs.
- Conduct Gemba Walks, Rapid Improvement Events, and Waste Analysis with colleagues.
- Coach, train, and mentor colleagues to drive culture change in line with company behaviours.
- Simplify Value Stream Map events to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of the Continuous Improvement vision and strategy.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in roles such as CI Manager, CI Officer, PI Manager, Process Engineer in manufacturing.
- Manufacturing experience, preferably within the food industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between manufacturing sites (approximately 13 miles).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including data analysis and presentation.
- Effective decision-making and self-management skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
- Ideally Six Sigma or Lean trained, or similar experience.
- Demonstrates change management and leadership skills.
- Passionate about exceeding goals and inspiring the team.
