We are seeking a Regional Equipment Coordinator to work within the logistics team and in partnership with colleagues across the organisation where you will be responsible for ensuring St John People have access to appropriate, well-maintained equipment to support our essential operational delivery. Within a Region this role will have responsibility for sourcing supporting equipment in support for planned activity, managing the approved list of equipment, updating the national asset register, servicing maintenance and disposal of equipment.

**About You**:

- Experience of being responsible for the purchasing, maintenance and replacement of time critical equipment within a robust equipment and kit governance environment
- Experience of collating KPI data and presenting to a range of stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with experience of delivering and leading on plans at a regional level and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical thinker with demonstrable experience of delivering service improvement

**About The Role**:

- Responsible for updating the national asset register accurately, ensuring detailed records are maintained and all equipment is tracked and identifiable
- Ensure that all equipment and medical devices are commissioned, procured, serviced, maintained, repaired and disposed of; in line with the needs of the organisation and manufacturers specifications and national process is followed to remove unserviceable equipment from use
- Support the National Equipment Manager in the development of business cases for new medical equipment requirements
- Work with the National Equipment Manager and Clinical team to develop and put in to practice decontamination and cleaning regimes for medical equipment and devices and support with the development of a contemporary, suitable and financially viable replacement programme
- Maintain and develop technical expertise in medical and devices and other relevant equipment to support the organisation ensuring service delivery is possible using the most appropriate and cost-effective methods to serve our patients and customers.
