The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

- Lead delivery of communications strategy related to our Dogger Bank Wind Farm, in collaboration with project partners and Equinor team members.
- Develop content for use in corporate and local channels, including press releases, content for social media and websites, presentations. Contribute to the development and execution of our media strategy.
- Be responsible for our events calendar, taking the lead on planning and execution of conferences, events and site visits.
- Work with the wider UK communication team on internal and leadership communication to support employee engagement.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, including site visits for external stakeholders and senior management, working closely with our North East Stakeholder Manager.
- Take responsibility for Equinor’s strategic brand in the North East of England.
- Be a part of Equinor’s global network of communication professionals working across many geographies and communication functions, including political and public affairs, stakeholder engagements, media, events, branding and sponsorship.

- University degree in relevant field of communications, marketing, business or similar.
- Experience in communications.
- Ability to act as a communications advisor to senior management and technical experts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media content generation and publishing.
- Experience with event management and planning.
- Experience in political stakeholder engagement or in the energy sector desirable but not essential.
