Business Rates Experience - Opportunity to join the specialist Business Rates team with our client, a well-established London surveyors known by their clients for their industry leading expertise. They work with a broad range of clients whose property portfolio’sinclude office, retail, hospitals and more.

For this position we are looking for an experienced business rates specialist account manager with experience of:

- Appraising vacancy assets
- Providing solutions to empty rates liability to minimise liability of vacant properties
- Liaising with authorities to claim reliefs and exemptions
- Challenging billing authorities legal stance and dealing with challenges and appeals
- Reporting savings of rates liability to clients
- Negotiating refunds
- Keeping accurate records re changes of occupation and future lease events
- Similar experience including SBBR and ideally with IRRV qualification
