RDL Scientific are seeking a Clinical Operations Support to join a leading Clinical Trial Unit based in Cambridge conducting Phase 1 Trials. The role will have you working alongside the multidisciplinary research team, including experienced Principal Investigators, Clinical Staff & Operations Manager to ensure that clinical trials are conducted and comply with acceptable clinical standards and the requirements of the protocol, standard operating procedures and Work Instructions, ICH GCP, Research Ethics Committees (RECs), regulatory authorities and other applicable guidelines and regulations.

**Duties**:

- Assist in quality control activities for studies in conjunction with Ward Managers and Recruitment Coordinators, Laboratory and other staff within the unit,
- Assist in quality control of study documentation for completeness and accuracy,
- Preparation & Archiving of clinical trial related documentation,
- Preparation and processing expenses for study volunteers and patients,
- Monitoring and Processing suppliers for Clinical & Pharmacy areas,
- Inputting of data onto Clinical systems,
- Management of clinical trial related documentation,
- Preparation of Case Report & Study Forms,
- Assist in updating TOPS,
- Assist in the maintenance of Site Investigator Files, including file set up,

- Demonstration of technical capabilities and ability for championing deployment of new office tech tools.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Maintain a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise a highly varied workload against a constantly changing environment.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, strong business awareness and be sensitive to dealing with confidential information.

**Education and Experience**:

- Educated to ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent but previous experience within this environment and the pharmaceutical industry is preferable.
- Good office pc skills, databases, spreadsheets would be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience working under GxP and FDA regulations
- Strong understanding of Clinical Documentation
- Possess a familiarity with pharmaceutical technology terminology.

**You must have the right to work in the UK for this role. RDL Scientific cannot offer sponsorship.**

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
