JT Recruit are looking for an experienced temp van/Light Tipper Mechanic for a local authority working at the Bromsgrove and Redditch depot. This contract is for initially for 3 months with the potential of extension, 37 hours to start ASAP

Rate of pay: PAYE £17.11 and UMBRELLA £22.24

About this role:
As a Van/Light Tipper Mechanic you will undertake the service, repair, maintenance and inspections of light Fleet vehicles and light plant machinery owned by the council, as well as carrying out low volume MOTs on Taxi/Private Hire and Public vehicles when needed.

Experience required:
City & Guilds Level 3 minimum or equivalent for light commercial Van/tipper repair and maintenance.

DVSA nominated tester class 4

Light Plant machinery (CITB Plant Operators Certificates highly desirable), for the repair and maintenance of walk behind and ride on mowers, pole saws and blowers, chippers and stump grinders, etc.

Any welding/fabricating skills and Qualifications/Certificates would be again highly desirable, but not essential.
