We are advertising a post within our wonderful Shared Lives Service as a Shared Lives Support Officer in North Lancashire. Shared Lives is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission and matches people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or older vulnerable people, with Shared Lives Carers recruited and trained by the service. Our Shared Lives Service offers the people we support the opportunity to live in a family environment, allowing them to develop their skills, be valued, involved in their community and gain confidence to become as independent as possible.
As a Support Officer you will regularly carry out reviews with carers to ensure they are providing a high standard of care to the individuals we support, and you will liaise with our client cohort to ensure they are happy within their placements and are leading their best life.

You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
