**Community Assistant**

**About us**:

**About the role**:
You will be the face of the company and the first point of call for our members. Reporting to the location lead, you will work together to build a welcoming and collaborative community environment by supporting events and building relationships with and between members.

As a community assistant you will work Monday through Friday. Hours of work will vary and occasional extended or evening hours may be necessary for events. This is a permanent role and would suit full-time or part-time employment.

**Salary**: £20,000-£24,000 depending on experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cover the front desk during our opening hours and be the on-site point of contact.
- Manage all meeting room bookings and visitors, ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and visitors checked in. Including helping with any technical questions
- Help ensure that the kitchen is stocked, and the hub remains tidy throughout the day.
- Support events held by hub8 and our members, from start to finish, to help ensure each attendee gets the best event experience.
- Help drive growth and promotion of hub8, helping shape our policies and procedures, as you collect and collate member feedback to provide the best possible community experience.
- Customer service, retail or reception experience preferred.
- Outgoing personality, with the ability to handle multi-tasking.
- Self-driven with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workload.
- Passion for cyber security and technology.
- Must have strong written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills including word and excel.

**Salary**: £10.25-£12.00 per hour
