Lifting Gear UK are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide effective support to our National Test, Inspection and Repair Manager at the Preston branch, to facilitate cross departmental communications within the Company, and assist with the day to day running of the departments whilst proving a first-class customer service.
This role also manages documentation and electronic data bases, information supply and communication with colleagues, customers, and other stake holders on National Test & Inspection team matters.
**Salary**: Negotiable depending on experience
**Location**: Leyland branch, PR25 3GR
**Start Date**: Immediate start available
**Hours of work**: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

LGUK Inspections Coordinator is responsible to the National Inspection, Test & Repair Manager for the following duties:
- Assist in the daily operational management of all aspects of the Inspection & Test division.
- Ensure the division complies with the health and safety legislation and/or regulations to ensure that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the health, safety and well-being of employees and customers.
**Daily Duties**
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with UK Regulations including but not limited to: LOLER & PUWER.
- Support and promote the development of the business online certification portal, ensuring customer details are updated and complete.
- Monitor and approve new inspected items utilizing the LGUK certification portal. (Preferred first task of the day)
- Inputting of certified items onto the certification portal.
- Processing incoming communications from internal and external customers promptly and on time.
- Create and offer quotations to customers.
- Create contracts and associated paperwork for on-site testing & inspections.
- Produce site-specific method statements & risk assessments.
- Effective coordination & scheduling of inspectors utilizing the inspection planner.
- Using customer systems and portals to book vehicles & inspectors on sites/inductions.
- Enhanced customer experiences - Ensure booking confirmations are issued to all customers.
- Ensure OHNC of testing equipment is processed correctly and on time. (48hr)
- Ensure all off-hired contracts are invoiced promptly.
- Review customer feedback and report on any negative outcomes.
**Weekly Duties**
- Utilisation of spreadsheets, ensuring they are kept up to date.
- Sales and text report conducted and checked ( Must be correct at month end & before invoice run)
- Reconciling and costing timesheets, both internal and external
- Compiling and placing orders with suppliers
- Ensuring company equipment is calibrated, serviced, inspected and/or PAT tested as per procedure.
- Ensure Hire fleet Load Measuring equipment is calibrated annually in line with current company procedures.
- Ensure the Hire fleet Fall Arrest Blocks and tripod winches are serviced annually in line with current company procedures.
- Ensure Portable Appliance Testing equipment (P.A.T) and Torque Wrenches are calibrated/tested annually in line with current company procedures.
- Update and maintain calibration/service registers and communicate upcoming requirements to the branch network.
- Monitor and action due/overdue customer inspection, sending out reminders and updating the spreadsheet.
- Booking accommodation/parking, and vehicle servicing & MOTs on time.
