Events Co-ordinator

Compassion UK is recruiting for a **Events Co-ordinator** who will be a vital member of the Events team working to achieve successful events, projects and ambassador tours, maximising acquisitions potential.

**Location**:
- Home-based or Office-based in Fleet, Hampshire,
- **with extensive travel throughout UK and some overseas travel will be required**
Hours:
- 35 hours per week over a flexible working pattern with some weekend work as required
**Salary**:
- £29,400 pa (within the grade £29,400 to £35,500 pa)
About the role
As an **Events Co-ordinator** you are to work within the Events Team to establish, build, deepen and grow Compassion’s relationships with a portfolio of ambassadors and event organisers, to achieve regional acquisition objectives. To provide assistance and support to the Events Team in a range of activities to enable them to achieve their acquisitions targets with particular focus on the management of events.
**Responsibilities**:
- Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values.
- Project management of a number of identified events, special projects and ambassador tours.
- Maximise acquisitions potential from Ambassadors and events.
- Effectively manage budgets and communication channels.
About you
To flourish in this role, you'll need:

- **A full UK driving licence**
It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:
- Marketing, selling and customer services experience.
- An understanding of Compassion’s core programmes including the model, the message, the methods, and the metrics, by which its mission is accomplished.

Location & Benefits
This is a home-based or office-based role in our modern, ‘agile’ office with free parking, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station.
