We are currently looking for an Admissions Officer to join our busy team.

The Admissions Officer will facilitate the admissions function for Navitas Europe, working for Anglia Ruskin University College (ARUC), as well as the broader Admissions and Compliance teams.

**Location**:Chelmsford / Cambridge / Flexible

**Salary**:From £23,000- £26,500

**Hours of Work**:Full Time, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, flexible working will be considered

**Contract Type**:Fixed Term Contract, Maternity cover until 31/12/2023

**Admissions Officer Duties**:

- Applications are assessed accurately and in accordance with the latest admissions requirements
- Agents, students, and regional teams are always updated and kept abreast of developments
- Student interviews are conducted, recorded and communicated accurately
- Sustainable and productive working relationships are developed with regional teams, the College, our University Partner, and agents
- Individual and team targets are achieved

**Admissions Officer Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- A-Levels or equivalent
- Experience in a successful, target driven sales role, preferably in student recruitment
- Experience in a face to face and phone-based sales environment
- Proven ability to organise own workload and to cope with a variety of task demands
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience of using and managing data
- Experience in building and managing internal and external relationships
- Administration or data processing experience
- Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups
- Computer literacy skills inclusive of competence with Outlook Microsoft Office suite PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to follow process
- A team player
- A can-do mentality
- Resilient in pursuit of excellence
- Respectful of other cultures
- A conviction to providing the best customer service

**Desirable**:

- Degree level study
- Understanding of Higher Education industry sector
- An understanding of the international education industry and visa process
- Front-line customer relationship management to multicultural client base
- An effective knowledge of university and/or pathway admissions criteria and processes
- An understanding of business practices in other cultures
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Ability to communicate in a language other than English
