**Overall job purpose**

This role is a 12 month contract to cover maternity. In this role you will assist People Advisors, Senior People Advisors and People Advisory Managers in providing a commercial people service to RSM. Working closely with the People team and supporting the wider business.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing administrative support for ER processes/meetings
- Being the first point of contact for trainees/red level employees
- Creating, running and producing weekly, monthly or annual reports as required, including data analysis
- Supporting employee wellbeing through return-to-work processes
- Administering line manager changes with the POT team and on HR systems
- Administering the leavers process including leaver forms, arranging of exit interviews and conducting interviews with red/blue grade employees
- Conducting employee life cycle activities such as maternity or paternity meetings/related paperwork
- General administration activities
- Working alongside the advisory group to keep them up to date with tasks, activities, and information
- Liaising with the POT team regarding new starters/other related paperwork
- Liaise with payroll staff on simple pay queries and sickness deductions
- Keeping trackers and systems up to date
- Research and ad-hoc project work
- Any other duties as required by the PAM, Senior Advisor or Advisor group

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong attention to detail in written and numeric tasks
- Good Excel/data analysis skills
- Previous experience of working in a team
- Previous experience of working in a professional office environment
- Professional appearance
- Interested in progressing career in HR, e.g. studying for HRCP or CIPD

**Desirable**

Previous experience in an HR or HR-related working environment would be advantageous
