**CBI Mission**

Climate Bonds Initiative is an international organisation working solely to mobilise the largest capital market of all, the bond market, for climate change solutions.

**Purpose**

To ensure the successful promotion, preparation, delivery and post-delivery of training and capacity building projects.

To work with the Programme Design and Operations Manager to manage the basic administration of the department with a strong focus on excellent customer service and experience.

Support the delivery of the Capacity Building and Technical Assistance teams overall objective, to increase capacity building in the capital markets to boost investment into climate and sustainable financial instruments.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to the Capacity Building Team, helping to deliver the training and technical assistance proposals and contracts
- Support day to day operational aspects of global training functions
- Act as the initial point of contact for the Climate Bonds Initiative Training and Capacity Building projects, handling all queries in a timely manner and ensuring all customers are in receipt of relevant information and documentation
- Support the delivery of training when needed, to include hosting and moderating trainings and workshops as well as operational management to ensure training and TA workshops have been successfully delivered
- To work alongside the Capacity Building Specialist as well as any other Trainer to ensure they are aware of the needs of CBI’s customers
- Draft and revision of proposals, contracts and agreements for Training and Capacity Building using current templates and updating as required
- Work with the training mailing list, compile RSVPs, guest lists and assist with our Mail outs about the Training projects
- Occasional production and technical support for training deliverables, including updating and revising PowerPoint presentations and handouts
- Maintenance of the training and capacity building pipeline (management sheet), ensuring it is accurate and updated on a regular basis to enable accurate reporting and oversight of the Training department
- Liaising with a broad spectrum of clients, participants, and stakeholders to understand their demand and training requirements to ensure CBI are delivering the appropriate training to the appropriate audience to maximise the potential of the green, social and sustainable bond market.
- Support the delivery of technical assistance projects as and when needed

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent
- GCSE in English and Maths
- Proven administration experience
- Strong customer service/stakeholder management experience
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and online platforms such as Zoom/Webex
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, effectively prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English
- Willing to contribute to CBI’s philosophy/mission statement/sales
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environments

**Desirable**
- Previous work for an NGO or in a climate/finance related sector
- Additional foreign language skills
