**Recycling Supervisor Day and Night Shift - NOTTINGHAM**

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, ambitious and dynamic people supervisor/manager with a proven track record of success to support the DMR Manager (DRY Mixed Recycling) in growing and developing our DMR plant in Nottingham

**The Role**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring that health, safety and welfare standards are maintained in accordance with the Company’s safety policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures and Instructions
- Assist the maintenance manager with regular inspections of the processing plant
- Ensure that daily prestart inspections are carried out of all processing plant including, guarding, access and egress and all safety features
- Liaise with maintenance manager regarding all defects and services
- Deliver induction training with new starters
- Support with training and development of personnel
- Support management in compliance with the Waste Management license
- Ensure the safe efficient running of all plant equipment and personnel under your control
- Inform management of non-conforming waste streams entering the recycling area
- Support the business to develop relationships with existing customers
- Work cross functionally with Managers and staff to ensure the efficient use of resources including staff and plant
- Develop and maintain storage area to be safe, efficient and to achieve segregation of sensitive stockpiles
- Maintain and, where possible, improve average selling price of all products produced from recycling area
- Seek continuous improvement to all processes and operations by embracing new technology, processes and new products
- Lead by example and uphold the Enva brand
