On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a **Front Office Desk Assistant /Receptionist for an initial 6-month** **contract** based in **London. **Days and hours of work Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays with a 9am or 930 start on a rotational basis.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of Front of House for M&G visitors, their subletters, client floor meeting rooms and provide event support.

The role is fast past paced and varied, it will suit a well organised and confident individual with good communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail. We are looking for a dynamic and quick-thinking person who is passionate about 5-star customer service and takes pride in the delivery of this service. Must have the ability to build rapports with staff, clients and maintain those relationships. Be a flexible and a good team player whilst supporting the Visitor Team Manager.

**As a Front Office Desk Assistant /Receptionist you will be responsible for**:

- Greeting all visitors and staff into the office in a professional and friendly manner.
- Carrying out client floor and meeting room checks, including executive area.
- Tidying meeting rooms before and after each meeting.
- Logging reactive tasks.
- Welcoming guests and offering refreshments upon arrival of the client floor.
- Creating last minute bookings.
- Making taxi bookings.
- General admin duties such as photocopying, printing.
- Ensuring newspapers & magazine are in date.
- Coordinating events.
- Must be well presented and adhere to all Visitor Team Standards (Essential).
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Essential).
- Ability to problem solve using your own initiative (Essential).
- Previous experience in a Corporate Receptionist role desired.
