**Human Resources Advisor**

Norse Group's Support Services Division has an excellent opportunity within our HR Department for a HR Advisor to join our team at our Head office in Norwich.

This position is being offered on a full-time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday; however, other working patterns and hours would be considered.

**The role**

As HR Advisor, you will be working as part of an effective team in delivering outstanding HR advice and support across the Group to support the Norse Group’s core values. We are embarking on an exciting period of system change and this role will sit within our AskHR team.

As part of this you will:

- Acting as first point of contact for answering employee HR queries and concerns
- Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers covering a variety of employment topics
- Supporting managers with first line support around employee relations matters
- Manage and support with sickness cases
- Create and maintain HR content in our HR Knowledge Hub

We are looking for you to have previous experience and knowledge as follows:

- Have previous experience working in a role within HR
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to have discussions at all levels
- Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business
- Either currently working towards a CIPD Qualification, or a willingness to undertake this qualification.
- An understanding of HR functions and systems
