Stores Operative, circa £23,000 moving to £25,000 after 12 weeks, Monday to Thursday, 7am - 5pm finish, Perm contract, weekly pay, 28 days holiday, free parking, Overtime paid at a premium.
Manufacturing business in Rochdale requires a Store operative, this role has become available due to expansion and continued growth.
The ideal Stores Operative will come from a manufacturing, Engineering, or Warehouse / Distribution background. The Vacancy for the Store Operative offers flexible working hours Monday to Friday.
The duties of the Stores Operative would be as follows:
- Kitting parts and keeping the kits in order
- Picking and Packing of goods ready for despatch
- Updating stock
- Booking goods in
- Organising all incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Working on the company computer system
Key Attributes of the Stores Operative position:
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing or stock control environment.
- Knowledge of picking and allocation of parts.
- FLT Licences (counterbalance), although training can be provided
- Computer literate with various computer systems such as excel, MRP / ERP / Navision / SAP, Sage etc.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively both as part of a team and independently.
What’s on offer for the successful Stores Operative
- You can expect a rate of pay of £11,27
- Overtime at 1.5 mid-week and sat, double time Sunday
