**About our client**:
This private hospital group has a number of clinics in and around the city of Wolverhampton. They are part of Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare; with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, they perform more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. They have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist - Nursing to join their team of staff in the Dermatology department. Patients are refferred to the clinic via their GP and are treated for a range of conditions, including: Acne; Basal cell carcinomas (BCC); Benign lesions; Bowen's disease; Eczema; Moderate to severe rashes; Keratosis and Psoriasis.

**About the role**:
As a Clinical Specilaist Nurse, working within our client's Dermatology department at their private hospital, you will:

- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
- Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
- Develop your own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge/skill and expertise.
- Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
- Provide a high profile commitment to professional development, teaching and education for all levels of nursing staff in the hospital.

**About you**:
You will be a NMC registered Nurse with a degree-level (or equivalent) qualification in Nursing** with previous UK nursing and Dermatology experience.**

You will also have:

- Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification.
- Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice

standards.
- Basic workload and shift-management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
- Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
- Awareness of NMC Standards for specialist education and practice.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
