Commit to a maximum of 20 days a year to be part of something new. The NHS Reservist programme is a ground-breaking scheme and has been created to recruit a dedicated pool of workers to support existing system-wide NHS workforce resources.

A reservist is a worker on a temporary terms and conditions which commits them to supporting the system for limited number days per year when the ICB is operating under particular circumstances. Reservists will provide a flexible but reliable workforce, and have the opportunity to learn new skills, refine their knowledge and support the NHS at times of operational challenge. The Northamptonshire ICB Reservist pool will comprise of professional registrants, unregistered health care workers and administrative workers that can work across various sites as and when required.
