**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Jaguar Racing is part of the Jaguar Land Rover Motorsport department and competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Jaguar Land Rover Motorsport and Jaguar Racing sits within the CEO / Chief of Staff function and is responsible for all strategy, planning and delivery of successful motorsport activities for both Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

Within this function is the Business Operations department, whose responsibility includes the delivery of the JLR Motorsport department governance, the long term and annual planning process, the successful integration of motorsport activities around the JLR business and the delivery of race operations supporting the whole department.

Reporting to the Jaguar Racing Operations Manager, the Business Operations Executive is responsible for key team Business Operations. This important role is critical to the successful and efficient operation of the team and importantly the presentation of the team to a high (modern luxury) standard. The role includes, but it not limited to, leading the delivery of the team’s visual identity through all assets, annual coordination of the production and delivery of team kit/merchandise requirements for Jaguar TCS Racing and delivery of revenue opportunities for the team through merchandise sales along with licensing opportunities through Formula E and our apparel partner.

Additionally, and supporting the above, the role is responsible for shared systems, inventories to enable efficient access for all team members for team assets both digitally and physically.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Team Branding & Visual Identity**:

- Managing the Team’s visual identity development & delivery with the Jaguar Land Rover design team. Includes all touch points e.g. car livery, team and race garage livery, team kit, hero comms assets.
- Managing the development of the car livery and the approval process.
- Manage all branding approvals with external stakeholders including sponsors. Formula E and any third-party agencies.
- Supporting production of agenda & material for Design Working group.
- Deliver annual brand guidelines, and work alongside comms team to deliver a central suite of assets (through DVA or CPMS) approved by Design. Assets include hero assets, race posters, FE TV graphics, powerpoint templates, and event collateral.

**Merchandise, Team Kit and Accessories**
- Work with JLR Design team to create an approved team kit and merchandise range for each season.
- This includes planning team quantity requirement & forward ordering of team kit and additional team requirements e.g. event and gifting requirements and distribution to the team; the ongoing management of the apparel partner; the sourcing and production of other team items e.g. trainers and luggage.
- Management of the approval process for team kit through the business
- Working with branded goods team and partnerships team on apparel supplier selection, the commercial negotiations including a license for replica kit, the partner / supplier set up and ongoing management.
- Management of team kit budget, forecasting and revenue reporting.
- Management of apparel partner including timely delivery of team kit and merchandise, development and delivery of sales channels including an online shop, and promotion of sales channels through internal and external routes.
- Coordinate and lead the working group on a Jaguar Racing accessories range with the design team for sale from Season 9 onwards via internal channels and an external ecommerce outlet.
- Working closely with the Jaguar Racing Comms Team and Jaguar Brand team to promote sales and run campaigns.
- Lead the discussion and implementation of Formula E at track sales and ongoing licensing opportunities.
- Work with the Race Operations Executive to support the distribution of team kit to the race team at JLR and WAE, including any additional requests from Executive office and sponsors. These two roles would also be responsible for overseeing the stock management of the team kit.

**Other Business programmes**
- Management of design resource workload across the team
- Inventory Management for all Jaguar Racing assets including trophies, driver helmets, driver suits - as well as items stored at JLR, Baddersley and WAE
- Management of physical environments branding implementations and sign off e.g. race suites, motorsport stands, WAE workshop and Gaydon facilities, on-site branding implementations
