**HR Officer - Glengormley - £28,000 to £30,000**
Established in 1970, Montgomery Transport Group is one of Europe's leading suppliers of logístical services. The company is a privately owned business, part of the Ballyvesey Holdings Group that has grown significantly in recent years, now providing a diverse range of Logistics Services throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
We are looking to recruit a full time HR Officer to join the team based at the head office in Glengormley, Montgomery Transport.
**Key Responsibilities of a HR Officer**:
- To administer the starter/leaver process including all documentation, contracts offer letters, induction process and exit interviews
- Maintaining employment data into the company database
- To work in partnership with HR and payroll teams to ensure data records are consistently and accurately maintained.
- Organising meetings and taking minutes
- Assisting with the hiring process
- Management of the Companies Equality Platform including statutory monitoring processes
- First point of contact for HR related matters
- Answering any employee inquiries
- Creating staff handbooks and newsletters
- Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
- Updating employee holiday and sickness records
- Provide advice on a range of HR policies and procedures
**The Ideal HR Officer**:
- Excellent IT Skills including Excel
- Strong Systems experience
- Experience in managing performance management systems
- A self-starter who has the ability to deliver excellent results
- Detail-oriented and the ability to provide high levels of accuracy in all work
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent customer/client service skills
- Proven ability to work well as a member of a team, as well as the ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate with effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
- Ability to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
- A Tertiary HR qualification and or CIPD qualified
