**What you'll do?**

As Cost Controller you will be responsible for supporting our Heads of Department with administrative duties relating to stock and data input. This role will work alongside our Head of F&B, Bar Manager, Restaurant Manager and the Executive Chefs to ensure that all admin, invoicing and stock management is completed in an efficient and timely order.

**As a cost controller you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not exclusive to**:

- Responsible for all F&B stock inside & Outside the Mandrake
- Work together with the Director of Finance to enable the Mandrake to use only one system for all our goods.
- Support F&B Departments for all technical issues resulted from faulty PDQs and Micros system operations.
- Take ownership of the Supplier creation on fourth
- Understand the full operation of Fouth Hospitality
- Place the orders with our chosen suppliers
- Investigate the market to see if we are using the correct suppliers which are the most cost effective
- Input all invoices onto our chosen systems ensuring that attention to detail is always given
- Work alongside our goods receiver to maximize efficiency in our back of house areas
- Assist our team in putting away certain goods into the correct spaces
- Adopt a hands-on approach with all of our deliveries
- Take ownership of updating our systems regularly to make sure everything is up to date in terms of our stock
- Make sure all supplier’s price increases are addressed and actioned, as well as updating our menu prices accordingly.
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene laws
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Support weekly reconciliation across departments
- Preparing daily reports cost results
- To be an ambassador for The Mandrake, embodying our values and commitments

**What we're looking for?**
- Minimum of 1 years’ food and beverage administrative or finance experience
- Understanding of food and beverage and recipe costing is ideal
- Excellent English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to multi-task and follow directions.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is required.
- Be fun-loving, have a big personality and enjoy the culture that this industry offers.
- Have the drive to go above and beyond the job role.

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
