The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is looking for Cost Controller who will be responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in both BOH and in Accounts Payable to ensure margins and profitability are maximized.

**Cost Controller duties and responsibilities include**:

- To ensure that all daily / weekly and monthly BOH/Cost Control and Finance deadlines, tasks and processes have been complied with.
- To ensure periodic reports like food and beverage flash, stock days and expense trackers are updated.
- To lead the month end process relating to Stocks and BOH processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- To control, monitor and advise on all CheckSCM related items ensuring suppliers statements are reconciled monthly, all necessary Credit notes obtained and suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
- Monitor compliance with nominated suppliers and work with BOH, F&B and Chef teams to ensure items are purchased through the correct contracted supplier
- To Check Open Food, Voids and No sales in PoS
- Monitor and manage both Creditor and Stockholding days to minimize costs and maximise use of company’s cash flow.
- Analyse and monitor F&B POS system (Micros) for accuracy and ensure Menu Engineering is in line with expected margins.
- Develop high quality management information and performance measurement that is timely, accurate. Reporting should be thought provoking and action oriented.
- Utilise reporting that incorporates benchmarking, identification and measurement of key performance indicators. Reporting should not only look to historical performance within the hotel, but also outwards and forwards.
- Meet all weekly and month-end deadlines by timely submission of reports e.g. F&B Target report, Reconciliation of F&B revenue (Symphony vs DMR)and Food and Beverage Flash,
- Assist the management in any ad hoc works or projects. Comply with audit procedures at all times.
- In association with the Assistant Financial Controller to be the main point of contact for the BOH department.
- As required work with the FC and AFC with tasks associated with the total hotel accounts.
