We're now looking for a** Social Video Producer (9 month FTC) **to join our Marketing Team and create and edit social video for our editorial and marketing channels

**About the Role**
- Working with our audio and marketing teams, create and post regular videos and stories to promote some of the Guardian's shows and the overall brand.
- Find, select, edit and post videos across Guardian platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X and YouTube.
- Turn podcast content into gripping social video.
- Work with the marketing and audio teams to come up with social video strategies for campaigns; brand and editorial (e.g. new podcast series).
- Assist with optimisation on all Guardian video content - keywords, headlines, video descriptions, geolocating etc.

**About You**
- The ability to produce, shoot and edit videos for social channels will be essential for this role.
- You'll have experience in creating video content for social channels for both promotional and marketing purposes - with experience in the podcast space being advantageous.
- A keen eye on the news cycle, as well as a passion for marketing.
- Experience in optimising video content and tracking analytics and trends is a must, as is experience of innovating with new formats and ideas.
