Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Video Producer to join our talent pool. As a Video Producer at Zinc Network, you will be responsible for finding and selecting stories, producing high-quality videos, and overseeing the creative workflow. Your expertise will help us create engaging content that conveys complex information in a simple and clear manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide editorial and journalistic oversight of projects
  • Manage the creative workflow and oversee the work of the creative team
  • Find and select journalistic stories
  • Commission and edit long-form written content from partners
  • Develop creative ideas for videos and social content
  • Oversee the work of designers, animators, editors, and social content producers
  • Write powerful treatments and engaging scripts
  • Take ownership of project schedules and ensure timely delivery of assets
Requirements
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms
  • Several years' experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight of others
  • Several years' experience in video production, with numerous scripting, producing, and editing credits
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
  • High level of creativity and ability to generate attention-grabbing ideas
  • Experience in archive research and motion graphics
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
