**What we are looking for**

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Contract Support coordinator, who will work closely with our in-house Contract and Project Managers to provide vital support to our Buildings and Civils Team.

The role will include working alongside and learning from experienced colleagues to guide and mentor you through the process of contract support, coordination and some administration, enabling the delivery of projects and contracts on time and to the highest standard.

**Role outputs**:

- Liaising with suppliers and contract mangers to ensure the co-ordination and organisation of invoices, purchase orders and general work completion information.
- Developing a full understanding of company and client computer and management systems.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and estimates as guided by contract/project managers and commercial team.
- Assist in the production of and submission of accurate progress reports as directed and in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain clear and coherent communication streams with clients, suppliers, and staff.
- Participate in team meetings with Railscape staff and Management
- Organising the workload for teams carrying out Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers ensuring invoices and orders are received in a timely manner.
- Provide essential support to senior management in various administrative activities ensuring the smooth running of contract/project delivery.
- Roster and Planning of resources internal and external.

**Required attributes**:

- An ability to think innovatively and pro-actively under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
- An appreciation and understanding of financial and administrative management skills.
- Confidence to liaise with Customer, clients, operatives, and contractors.
- Organised - ability to prioritise works and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Computer literate - ability to efficiently pick up new software or systems.
- To undertake and maintain Industry Employment Drug and Alcohol and Medical Examination and screening. You will be required to submit to random testing under Railway Regulations.

**Desirable attributes**:

- Experience of working within different business areas including commercial, financial, and contract administration.
- Experience in a Railway environment.
