**Job Description Summary**:
The Commissioning Resource Planning Leaders position is a critical role within the Offshore Wind business and has responsibility to manage all aspects of planning manpower operations to successfully execute the backlog of Offshore Wind farm orders.

The role reports directly to the Global Commissioning Resource Leader and has day to day responsibility to ensure that all Commissioning technicians are planned to fulfil project execution requirements accordingly.

Management of the digitisation tools being utilised by the Commissioning Technician workforce and supporting teams.

Compiling and providing input into departmental Metrics and to take part in continual improvement feedback loop quality / lessons learned meetings.

Generate Resource planning spreadsheets, ensure that Work permits requirements are documented and transmitted to the technicians, Digital storage and availability of the PPE and Certification to ensure Resource project plans are successfully fulfilled.

Competency /Training needs are planned to ensure alignment of continual development and growth of our Commissioning technician teams to meet new product releases and customer execution requirements.

EHS and Safe Working Systems are planned to and are the basis of our Safety culture.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Daily Project Planning and associated mobilizations to ensure effective and coordinated fulfilment of all Resources required to execute commissioning activities pertaining to on-site and offshore activities.
- Providing input of resource gaps and coordinating the number of resources, training plans, logistics, direct hires, technical support, planning etc..
- Interfacing and communicating Resource plans regularly with all key stakeholders: - Customers, Commissioning Package Leaders, HUB Operations Leaders, HUB Onshore Commisioning & Preservation Leaders, Controls Leaders, Safe Working Systems, Training, HSE.
- Partnering with Project leadership to ensure execution Plans for customer satisfaction and growth targets are exceeded.
- Coordinating the project delivery of resources in line with operational needs, optimizing personnel workload, manage and report pre-defined Project Commissioning fulfilment budgets
- Partnering with local HR & Recruitment to grow the technician resource pools, according to the business requirementscoordinate the recruitment strategy to achieve the desired capacity for the organization.
- Planning and coordination of training and development of support staff to meet project and growth requirements
- Work with required business systems (ERP’s), example Service max, Primavera P6 to ensure all service activities are properly and fully documented and turned in for any invoicing / project back charges per company requirements.
- Align Planning of resources within compliance of company guidelines, customer, project and regulatory EHS requirements & expectations at all times, leading the culture of 0 EHS incidence and open reporting.
- Assist the Global Resource leader promote compliance to customer, company, project and regulatory Quality management systems at all times, leading the culture to minimize and eliminate customer down time.
- Promote within the Resource technicians pool an effective Compliance Culture, striving to achieve 0 Compliance Incidents.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of all field service metrics, including financial, quality and EHS including managing regional departmental cost control “Bullet trains”.
**Essential Qualifications/Competencies**:

- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Proven experience in a Planning or Technical/ Field service Renewables / Oil & Gas industry and proven strong organisational / Supervisor’s experience.
- Planning tools experience / Primavera P6 knowledge
- Familiar with root cause analysis methods and tools
- Six Sigma certification is an advantage
**Desired Characteristics/Skills**:

- PC Literate: Word, Excel, Wells, PowerPoint, Primavera RMT
- Onshore / Offshore Wind experience is desired.
- Team player with strong communication and influencing skills to perform in a matrix role
- Strong planning and follow up process mind set.
- Good presentation skills
- Good Safety Culture skillset
