About the role:

Join our dedicated team as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant focused on providing targeted support for low-achieving students. We are looking for passionate individuals who can help enhance learning and boost confidence in young learners. The Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant will focus on providing targeted booster sessions for low-achieving students.

This role involves working closely with the class teacher to identify students’ needs, plan and deliver tailored interventions, and monitor progress. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 1.

• A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Experience in delivering boosters and interventions for low-achieving students.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.

• A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students requiring additional help.

• Implement and monitor tailored intervention programmes.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
