Building Physics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who provide their various services across a range of sectors across the UK. They are on the lookout for a Building Physics Engineer to join their team in Winchester and work on a range of exciting sustainable design projects.

Role responsibilities for a Building Physics Engineer include:

Carry out building regulations compliance modelling, as well as thermal comfort analysis
Carry out Operational Energy analysis in compliance with CIBSE TM54, whilst carrying out NABERS simulations
Undertake passive design and low-zero carbon technology studies
Provide advice to clients on energy use and conservation to minimise the environmental impact of their projectsThe ideal Building Physics Engineer will have:

A master's degree within an architectural, sustainability, or engineering discipline
A minimum of 2 years within a relevant role, with strong knowledge of building physics
Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling for buildings
Ideally be a CIBSE accredited Low Carbon Energy Assessor or at least working towards chartership
Excellent communication and presentation skillsBenefits of the role include:
