Job Description: Reporting to the Business Management System (BMS) Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving continual improvement initiatives across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and suppliers to uphold quality standards and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory standards such as UK CAA Part 21G, Part 21O, Part 145, EASA Part 145, and AS9100.

* Lead and perform internal audits, managing Corrective Action Reports (CARs) to closure.

* Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews, ensuring adherence to Acro's Supplier Requirements Manual.

* Support the implementation and development of Q-Pulse for managing quality activities.

* Provide internal training on quality-related topics and ensure awareness across the organization.

* Facilitate continual improvement activities to enhance business processes and performance.

* Support regulatory, certification body, and customer audits, preparing for and participating in these assessments.

* Contribute to bi-annual management reviews and assist in the development of new systems and training programs as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Extensive experience in Quality Management Systems within the aerospace industry.

* Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and requirements, with formal ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 qualifications.

* Experience in auditing (internal and suppliers) and managing audit programs.

* Valid internal/lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100.

* Proficiency in quality tools, techniques, and control procedures.

* Familiarity with aerospace regulatory standards (EASA Part 21G, Part 145, Part 21O, Part 21J).

* Ability to analyze data effectively and drive root cause identification using structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D).

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

* Experience with Q-Pulse and ERP software (EPICOR preferred) is advantageous.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to write procedures and maps processes effectively.
